Job Responsibilities
- Proficiently designed and execute data and system integrations, with a focus on network monitoring tools like Zabbix and Cacti.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to develop and maintain Zabbix installations, user interfaces, and dashboard displays. Implement solutions using SNMP protocol for optimal performance.
- Ensure the upkeep of comprehensive runbooks related to monitoring systems and display a firm grasp of Site Reliability Engineering and AIOps concepts. Your expertise contributes to our network monitoring excellence.
Experience requirements
- Experience Range: 2-10 years of seasoned expertise.
- Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in a range of monitoring tools, with a strong emphasis on Zabbix, Netflow, Cacti, Manage Engine, Big Brother, HPOV, and What's Up Gold.
- Network Proficiency: Mastery of networking and routing protocols, including TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc. Extensive experience with Network Management tools such as Cisco Prime, coupled with in-depth knowledge of event message formats, including SNMPv3 Traps, SYSLOG, and Log-Files.
- Integration Mastery: Demonstrated strength in designing and implementing data and systems integrations with a focus on Zabbix.
- Windows Expertise: Profound experience and understanding of the Windows WMI and WinRM protocols.
- Scripting Proficiency: Extensive experience in PERL script development using API interfaces, and a mastery of software version control systems such as Subversion.
- Programming and Systems: Versatility in Linux/Unix shell scripting, PERL, Python, JavaScript, REST, and HTML programming. Expertise spans backup and replication, database and ELK stack management, web application development, system architecture, load balancing, log analysis, and caching.
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Telecom Engineering
