Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals focused on the paint and coating sector, covers SEA regions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth in the paint and coating business segment.
  • Establish sales targets, monitor performance, team activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development, production, and distribution processes.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners in the paint and coating industry.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate challenges.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to team members to enhance their skills and contribute to their professional growth.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and services.
  • Drive innovation in product offerings and explore new avenues for business expansion in the paint and coating sector.
  • Monitor and manage the team's budget, P&L and ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the paint and coating industry.
  • Must have direct experience working in SEA regions and people management background.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
